Entry requirements for Cambodia
You must have a visa to enter Cambodia as a visitor.
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date and be undamaged.
A tourist visa is valid for 30 days from the date you enter Cambodia.
Apply for an e-visa at least 4 days in advance or get a visa on arrival at airports or land borders.
You must complete and submit a free electronic Arrival Card within 7 days before arriving by air at the main international airports.
Good to know:
You must provide a yellow fever vaccination certificate if arriving from a country listed as a transmission risk.
If you lose your departure form, contact immigration officials before leaving the country to make alternative arrangements.
Safety in Cambodia
Cambodia is tourist-friendly but has some key cultural and legal rules:
Be extra careful about bag snatchings from motorbikes, especially in popular tourist areas like Phnom Penh's riverfront and Sihanoukville's beaches.
Do not leave your drinks unattended in bars, as there have been reports of drink spiking.
Check alcoholic drinks carefully as there have been deaths from methanol poisoning in Cambodia.
Carry bags on the side furthest from the road and try to use tuk-tuks with protective grills to prevent theft.
Dress modestly at religious sites like Angkor Wat, covering shoulders and wearing skirts or shorts below the knee.

When swimming or using jet-skis, beware of strong river currents and jellyfish, especially during the rainy season.
Check that dollar notes you receive as change are genuine and not damaged or torn, as fake bills are sometimes given.

It's recommended to consult your doctor or travel clinic well in advance of your trip to discuss necessary vaccinations and health precautions. Drink only bottled or purified water. Be cautious of mosquito bites, particularly during the rainy season. Avoid eating raw or undercooked foods from street vendors.
