Entry requirements for Saint Kitts and Nevis
You can visit for up to six months without a visa.
You must apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) online before you travel.
Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your arrival date.
It is recommended to complete the immigration form online before travel to speed up airport arrival.
If you wish to stay beyond the initial six months, you must apply for an extension with the St Kitts and Nevis Immigration Department.
Good to know:
Upon entry, you must be able to present a yellow fever vaccination certificate if arriving from a country considered a risk for transmission.
If you are leaving Robert L Bradshaw International Airport on a LIAT-operated flight, you must pay the departure tax in cash or by card at the Airport Finance Office.
Safety in Saint Kitts and Nevis
Saint Kitts and Nevis is tourist-friendly but has some key cultural and legal rules:
Take care when walking alone off main roads and avoid isolated areas like beaches after dark.
Only use licensed taxis, which can be identified by a yellow licence plate with 'T' or 'TA' in the number.
Do not carry large amounts of cash or wear expensive-looking jewellery, and leave valuables in your hotel safe.
Be cautious when swimming, as currents can be strong and not all beaches have lifeguards or warning flags.
Agree on the fare with your taxi driver before you set off, as taxis are not metered.

It is illegal to dress in camouflage clothing, and you could face a fine or imprisonment.
You must have a local driving licence to drive, which can be obtained as a temporary licence from the Inland Revenue Department.
